Elizabeth Frye and John Stevens raised their family in Greenwich, MA, a town that was lost to a dam in 1938. The damming project required the reburial of 7,613 bodies including seven members of the Stevens/Frye Family.
Major General Stephen Abbot was a successful merchant in Salem. He was an officer in the Revolutionary War and later held the rank of Major General in the Massachusetts Militia. He and his wife Sarah had ten children although seven of the children died in childhood.
